![]() I don't dislike huNter or anything - and maybe it's recency bias with YEKINDAR seeming to have a huge impact in Liquid's success - but I personally would not group huNter with the 13 players I named above and I would not rank him higher than YEKINDAR. Although I do suspect that the 14th player HLTV ranked above YEKINDAR is huNter, which I personally just don't quite see. So, YEKINDAR on 15 doesn't feel quite as bad anymore. First of all, I obviously didn't bother to look up his ratings/performances match to match which the HLTV article does mention as being somewhat inconsistent.īut what convinced me a bit more was thinking about which players I could see myself ranking above YEKINDAR this year, especially when weighing MVPs/EVPs (or just overall performance in deep tournament runs) a little bit more.
